Magnesium diboride is the metal compound superconductor with the highest critical temperature to date, and its superconducting transition temperature is 39K, which is 234 °C. As a new material with superconductivity, magnesium diboride opens up a new way to study a new generation of high-temperature semiconductors with simple structures.
