Introduction: Medium Chain Triglyceride(MCT), originated from coconut oil or palm kernel oil, is a mixture of saturated fatty acids. The main composition, caprylic acid(C8H16O2)and capric acid(C10H20O2), takes no less than 95% of total fatty acids. Comparing with LCT, MCT could be hydrolyzed very quickly in the body, so it mainly works as energy provider in food application.

MCT microencapsulated powder is produced from MCT oil via emulsification and spray drying. The unique technology of agglomeration, as well as secondary embedding, make MCT powder more stable, with higher oil load but lower surface oil.
