Octamine, also known as 1-octylamine, n-octylamine, 1-aminooctane, primary n-octylamine, amine octane. This product is a colorless oily transparent liquid with an ammonia smell. Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents.

1. It is used as a surfactant because of its excellent decontamination, emulsifying, dispersing, lubricating, and solubilizing properties.

2. This product is used to produce N-octylpyrrolidone (a solvent used in agrochemicals and organic pigments), as an inhibitor of corrosion inhibitors, lubricants, and as a biocide.

3. Octylaminecan be used as an intermediate in synthetic medicine and liquid crystal materials, as well as in the synthesis of other fine products.

4. This product is also used in organic synthesis or biochemical research.
